Job summary

Lendmark Financial Services LLC is hiring a Loan Consultant I to deliver exceptional customer experience and provide personal loan solutions. The role emphasizes building a customer base through sales, loan extensions, and merchant referrals, with focus on compliance, monthly goals, and accuracy.

The position offers potential quarterly incentive compensation and a collaborative, fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
0-2 years consumer finance or related experience is preferred.
Cash handling.
Computer skills.
Customer service skills.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word Applications.

Responsibilities

Greet, assist and solicit individuals entering the office or calling by phone.
Receive and process credit and employment verifications, and record information.
Process payments and distributions; make recommendations regarding loan approvals.
Approve loans up to established lending limits; complete loan closings; handle account activities related to collections.
Prepare reports, correspondences, transaction documentation, and record/file documentation.
Operate cash drawer; process bank deposits; maintain records and balances; close the branch.
Actively market all branch products and services to individuals.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
