Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking a Personal Insurance Account Manager for an established agency. The role centers on managing personal insurance accounts, presenting to clients, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction and retention while coordinating with carriers.

You will handle renewal and change requests, cross-sell where appropriate, and support walk-in and phone sales. A strong knowledge of agency management software, insurance rating tools, and Microsoft Office, plus excellent

• Independent agency experience.
• Active P&C license is required.
• Must have working knowledge of agency management software, insurance rating software, and Microsoft Office.
• Must have excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Ability to self-direct the completion of job duties.

Responsibilities

• Handle personal insurance accounts.
• Client presentations and ability to resolve client concerns and issues.
• Review and recommend coverage for clients with focus on satisfaction, retention and rounding existing accounts.
• Liaison between clients and carriers.
• Cross-sell and assist walk-in/phone sales questions.
• Quoting both new and renewal business.
• Ability to handle all types of personal insurance.
• Process renewal & change requests.
• Advise of coverage recommendations and assist clients with claims.
• Assist in retaining accounts.
• Follow up on cancellations & Broker of Record Letters.
• Cross sell & round out accounts.
