Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services seeks an experienced insurance professional to provide exceptional service for assigned clients and policies. The role supports producers in pursuing new business and renewals, analyzes exposures, negotiates coverage, and prepares proposals and binders to ensure accurate policy placements.

The position requires strong communication, customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams to manage client accounts and invoicing processes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in education and experience.
• Minimum 6 years of related work experience in insurance.
• Active and valid insurance license.
• Maintain ongoing Continuing Education for license renewal.

Responsibilities

• Supports Producer in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects.
• Initiates renewal process for existing clients and discusses renewal strategy with Producer.
• Analyzes current exposures and develops renewal or new business specifications for marketing.
• Conducts marketing, negotiates rates, and reviews quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy.
• Reviews and summarizes marketing results and prepares proposals.
• Binds insurance coverage and prepares binders or certificates.
• Prepares summaries and schedules of coverage for clients.
• Responds to client accounting inquiries and manages receivables.
• Participates in the claims process as directed by management.
• Notifies brokers of information related to client retention and meets clients as needed.
