Job description

A growing U.S.-based law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager to join its team remotely.

The ideal candidate has previous experience working with a U.S. Personal Injury law firm and is comfortable managing cases, communicating with clients, coordinating with medical providers, and keeping cases moving efficiently from intake through settlement.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and confident handling multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Personal Injury matters from intake through settlement.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide case updates.
• Request and follow up on medical records, medical bills, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties involved in the case.
• Track medical treatment and ensure client files are updated accurately.
• Prepare and organize case documents, correspondence, and case summaries.
• Assist with demand package preparation and settlement documentation.
• Monitor case deadlines, follow-ups, and outstanding tasks.
• Maintain accurate and detailed notes in the firm's case management system.
• Communicate with attorneys regarding case developments, concerns, and next steps.
• Assist with additional case management and administrative responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Personal Injury Case Manager for a U.S. law firm is required.
• Strong understanding of the Personal Injury case lifecycle.
• Experience handling medical records, bills, insurance information, and client communication.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Experience with legal case management software is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with platforms such as Filevine, Litify, Clio, MyCase, or similar case management systems.
• Experience preparing demand packages.
• Experience communicating with insurance adjusters and medical providers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
