Job summary

Morgan & Morgan in Delaware is seeking a Pre-Suit focused Attorney to join our team and help lead pre-litigation efforts for personal injury cases. You will guide clients through the case process, prepare pre-litigation documents, and coordinate with a team of Case Managers to drive early resolution and effective settlement negotiations, while upholding our commitment to the people we serve.

Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills, plus a DE Bar in good standing, are essential as you manage

Qualifications

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Delaware State Bar.
• 2+ years of premises or personal injury experience.
• Ability to manage high volume pre-litigation cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Self-starter with long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work.
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents.
• Complete TD approval for liability issues.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and formation of demand packages.
• Manage the release approval process.
• Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers.
• Focus on personal injury cases, primarily automotive.
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team.
• EUOs, PIP statements, recorded statements.
