Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Pre-Suit focused Attorney in Jersey City to handle pre-litigation work, guide clients, and lead a team of Case Managers. You will draft and file pre-litigation documents and drive settlements and compliance in personal injury matters.

Ideal candidates have a law degree, NJ Bar admission, 2+ years in premises or personal injury, and strong writing and advocacy skills. This is a full-time on-site legal role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the NJ State Bar.
• 2+ years of premises or personal injury experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Self-starter with long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work.
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents.
• Complete TD approval for liability issues.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages.
• Manage the release approval process.
• Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers.
• Focus on Personal injury cases, primarily automotive.
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team.
• EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements.
