Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care – Schaumburg & Park Ridge, IL is seeking compassionate Personal Home Care Aides to provide non-medical support to seniors at home.

You will assist with personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and daily tasks, travel across Schaumburg, Rolling Meadows, Park Ridge and surrounding areas, and enjoy paid training, mileage reimbursement, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of caregiving experience preferred in home care or related settings.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Current auto insurance.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Our service area includes communities throughout the Northwest Suburbs, including Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Des Plaines, Park Ridge, and surrounding areas.

The location listed on this posting represents one of the areas we serve and is not necessarily our office location or the only area where you may be scheduled.

Applicants must be comfortable traveling to clients throughout our service area based on client needs and availability.

What You'll Do

As a caregiver, you may assist clients with:

• Personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Companionship and meaningful daily activities
• Meal preparation and basic household tasks
• Following individualized care plans and client routines
• Providing safe, respectful, and dependable in-home support
• Documenting care and communicating important changes to the office

What We're Looking For

• Previous caregiving experience preferred; 1+ year of experience in home care, private duty, CNA, HHA, or a related setting is a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Current auto insurance
• A dependable, compassionate, and patient approach to caregiving
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
