Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Schaumburg, IL is looking for compassionate caregivers, CNAs, and home health aides to provide non-medical care to seniors in their homes. You will help clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life while supporting daily activities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.
• Experience in home care, private duty, CNA, HHA, or similar caregiving setting is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping.
• Supporting clients with mobility and daily activities.
• Following individualized care plans and schedules, promoting client safety, comfort, and independence.
• Documenting care provided and communicating changes or concerns to the office.

Your Role as a Caregiver

Care needs vary from client to client. Depending on the individual's care plan, your responsibilities may include:
