Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Schaumburg & Park Ridge, IL is seeking compassionate Personal Home Care Aides to provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors and others who need help maintaining independence.

You’ll assist with personal care, companionship, meal prep, and light housekeeping, following individualized care plans. Travel to clients within the NW Suburbs, with a supportive team and training provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of caregiving experience in home care or related settings.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and daily activities.
• Meal preparation and basic household tasks.
• Follow individualized care plans and client routines.
• Document care and communicate changes to the office.

Our service area includes communities throughout the Northwest Suburbs, including Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Des Plaines, Park Ridge, and surrounding areas.

The location listed on this posting represents one of the areas we serve and is not necessarily our office location or the only area where you may be scheduled.

Applicants must be comfortable traveling to clients throughout our service area based on client needs and availability.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Previous caregiving experience preferred; 1+ year of experience in home care, private duty, CNA, HHA, or a related setting is a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Current auto insurance
• A dependable, compassionate, and patient approach to caregiving
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
