Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care - Schaumburg & Park Ridge, IL is seeking compassionate Personal Home Care Aides to provide non-medical, in-home care to seniors and individuals needing assistance. You will offer personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and support following individualized care plans; travel within the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred; 1+ year in home care, private duty, CNA, HHA, or related setting is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Current auto insurance.
• A dependable, compassionate, and patient approach to caregiving.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Companionship and meaningful daily activities.

Our caregivers play an important role in helping clients feel safe, comfortable, supported, and cared for in their own homes.

Our service area includes communities throughout the Northwest Suburbs, including Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Des Plaines, Park Ridge, and surrounding areas.

The location listed on this posting represents one of the areas we serve and is not necessarily our office location or the only area where you may be scheduled.

Applicants must be comfortable traveling to clients throughout our service area based on client needs and availability.
