Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care – Schaumburg & Park Ridge, IL is seeking caregivers, CNAs, and home health aides to deliver meaningful, dependable in-home support to seniors and individuals in their homes throughout the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, including Schaumburg, Palatine, Park Ridge and surrounding communities.

We offer competitive hourly pay, paid training, 24/7 office support, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.
• Home care, private duty, CNA, HHA, or similar experience is a plus but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care.
• Prepare meals and help with light household chores.
• Provide companionship and meaningful interaction.
• Assist with mobility and everyday activities.
• Follow the client's care plan and scheduled routines.
• Document services provided and communicate changes to the office.

What Does a Caregiver Do?

Every client has their own routines, preferences, and needs. Your role is to provide the support outlined in their individualized care plan while helping them remain comfortable and independent at home.

Depending On The Assignment, You May

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care
• Prepare meals and help with light household chores
• Provide companionship and meaningful interaction
• Assist with mobility and everyday activities
• Encourage independence and participation in daily routines
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Follow the client's care plan and scheduled routines
• Document services provided
• Communicate important changes or concerns with the office

What You'll Need

We're looking for people who are dependable, compassionate, patient, and comfortable working directly with clients in their homes.

Experience

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
• Home care, private duty, CNA, HHA, or similar experience is a plus but not required

Required

• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Current auto insurance

Preferred

• CPR/First Aid certification
