Wild Fork Foods is seeking a Retail Sales Associate in New York to deliver an exceptional guest experience through our personal chef and friendly butcher service. You will use product knowledge, cooking tips, and inspiration to help customers build great baskets while ensuring store readiness.

The role includes replenishment, inventory, and operational tasks in a fast-paced, cold environment. You will handle cash, operate the POS, assist with opening/closing duties, and collaborate with team

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail, grocery, hospitality, or food experience required.
• Strong customer service skills with enthusiasm for food and culinary exploration.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable working in extremely cold temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk 8–10 hours.
• Flexible scheduling (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Basic math skills for cash handling; POS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, engaging customer experience.
• Provide recommendations, cooking tips, recipes, and product insights.
• Drive sales by building baskets and suggesting pairings.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise to keep the store full, fresh, and visually compelling.
• Operate the POS and handle transactions with accuracy.
• Support opening/closing duties and cash controls.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders to meet store goals.
