Wild Fork is looking for a Retail Sales Associate in New York with a passion for food and guest service. You will create a warm, engaging shopping experience using product knowledge, recipes, and a friendly, chef-inspired approach while supporting replenishment, merchandising, and store readiness.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail, grocery, hospitality, or food experience required.
• Strong customer service skills with enthusiasm for food and culinary exploration.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable working in extremely cold temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk 8–10 hours.
• Flexible scheduling (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Basic math skills for cash handling; POS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, engaging shopping experience and personal chef style service.
• Provide recommendations, cooking tips, recipes, and product insights based on customer needs.
• Drive sales by engaging customers, building baskets, and suggesting product pairings.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products to maintain a full, fresh store.
• Process transactions and handle cash with accuracy; support opening/closing duties when leadership is not present.
• Maintain clean, organized, customer-ready store and assist with deliveries/back-stock as needed.
