Job summary

Wild Fork is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to deliver a warm, engaging in-store experience, offering expert product knowledge and meal inspiration. You will handle replenishment, inventory, and store readiness while working in cold freezer environments and performing cash handling using a POS system.

The role emphasizes teamwork, a customer-first mindset, and flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours across mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail, grocery, hospitality or food experience required.
• Strong customer service skills with enthusiasm for food and culinary exploration.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable working in extremely cold temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk 8–10 hours.
• Flexible scheduling (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Basic math skills for cash handling; POS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, engaging shopping experience and drive sales.
• Provide recommendations, recipes, and product insights based on customer needs.
• Build baskets and suggest product pairings to meet daily sales goals.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products; ensure full, fresh store presentation.
• Assist with receiving, processing deliveries, and back-stock organization.
• Operate the POS with accuracy and handle opening/closing duties.
