Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications seeks a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) for on-site assignments in and around Columbus, MS. The role pays $11.00–$13.25 per hour on a W-2, assignment-based basis, with premiums for weekend, holiday, and hazard shifts.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with physical care and daily living activities, mobility, transfers, and reporting changes to facility nursing staff. Must be 18+, HS diploma or GED, and have six months of PCA experience.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of experience as a Personal Care Attendant.
• Ability to complete any training course and skills assessment required by the assigned facility.
• Physically and mentally able to perform required tasks, including lifting, transferring, and assisting residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in all areas of physical care and hygiene.
• Support residents with daily living activities, mobility, transfers, and repositioning.
• Work independently without constant supervision while following facility protocol.
• Communicate effectively, assertively, and cooperatively with residents, families, and facility staff.
• Report changes in resident condition promptly to facility nursing staff.
