Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Personal Care Attendant I to support participants across delivery of care, assist in food service preparation, and coordinate activities for overall well-being.

The role includes accompanying PACE participants to external appointments and sustaining compassionate, coordinated care. The position requires a high school diploma (preferred), BLS certification, and bilingual skills in English plus Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• California Food Handler Certificate of Achievement preferred and must be attained within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with frail elderly and disabled population preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.
• Valid BLS certification per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to participants across all delivery of care platforms.
• Coordinate and assist in preparation of all food services.
• Support and assist center activities and coordinate quality activity programs for all participants.
• Accompany/assist PACE participants to and from outside specialty appointments.
