AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Personal Care Attendant I to support participants across all delivery of care platforms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• California Food Handler Certificate of Achievement upon employment preferred, must be attained within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the frail elderly (Geriatric) and disabled population, preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• The Personal Care Attendant I provides support to participants across all platforms of delivery of care.
• Ability to assist in the coordination, preparation of all food services, support and assist center activities, and coordinate the delivery of quality activity programs/activities for all participants.
• Ensure that the recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs of each patient are met.
• Accompany/assist PACE participants to and from outside specialty appointments.
