Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Olive Branch, Mississippi, is hiring a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) for the part-time, day-shift position. The role offers hourly pay between $14.50 and $16.50 and a supportive team in an assisted living environment, with emphasis on resident comfort, dignity, and safety.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health and safety, and collaborate with nurses and caregivers to deliver person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR/BLS certification is a plus; training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Provide compassionate support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor safety and observe for distress or changes in condition.
• Document resident care, activities, and changes accurately.
• Communicate with nursing staff regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities promoting wellbeing.
• Maintain resident privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Support a clean, safe, welcoming living environment.
