Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents’ physical and emotional well-being in a warm, home-like setting. You will assist with daily activities, document care, and collaborate with a caring team to ensure safety and dignity.

This full-time, on-site role offers opportunities to grow professionally within a supportive environment that values fun, teamwork, and exceptional resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
