Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents in a warm, home-like environment in Springfield, TN. You’ll assist with daily living activities, monitor safety, and document care while collaborating with a dedicated team of caregivers and nurses.

This part-time, evening-shift role offers competitive pay ($14.50–$15 per hour) and opportunities for CPR/BLS training, with benefits and opportunities for growth as you help residents feel safe,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality according to HIPAA and company policies.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
