Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to provide hands-on care and support for residents in a warm, home-like environment. Join a team dedicated to resident comfort, dignity, and well-being, with opportunities to grow within a nationally recognized senior living organization.

The role offers 2nd shift (2-10p) on both full- and part-time schedules in Springfield, TN, with pay ranging from $14.50 to $15.00 hourly.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment
