Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) for Springfield Heights in Springfield, TN. This part-time role supports residents with daily living activities in a home-like environment, emphasizing safety, dignity, and meaningful connections.

You will work an evening shift (2pm-10pm or 10pm-6am), with an hourly pay of $14.50–$15.00. Excellent teamwork and strong communication are essential as you help residents maintain comfort and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment
