Interim HealthCare Inc. in Piedmont/Oakland is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Caregiver to help seniors live safely at home. Youll provide bathing, dressing, meals, transportation, and companionship, delivering compassionate, reliable support to clients in need.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, active CA HCA registration, CPR certification, and a valid CA driver’s license with transportation. The role offers competitive pay and ongoing CEU opportunities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care and support to seniors at home.
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, and companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and ROM exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition for supervisor follow-up.
• Maintain a safe home environment and engage clients in activities for joy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

Must-haves

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in CA
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification
• Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
