The Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) seeks a Personal Care Assistant to provide essential in-home care to clients, following individualized care plans and keeping a safe, clean environment.
Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, ambulation, meal preparation (special diets), and helping with self-care activities. Also supports transfers with walkers/wheelchairs and documents tasks via EVV. All care is done within scope and with privacy in mind.

Document daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets, and notify supervisors of any changes in client condition or safety concerns.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
Skills required include strong communication, adherence to safety procedures, and respect for client privacy.
All tasks must be performed within the scope of practice, with guidance sought for unclear instructions.
