Job summary

Savant Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Caregiver in Santa Monica to join our team. You will provide direct care and medication assistance, support residents with daily activities, and help with transfers to ensure safety and comfort.

The role emphasizes teamwork and alignment with our mission to enhance residents' well-being. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR and First Aid certifications, and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair care).

What you will do:

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.
• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Must haves:

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• May need to possess current CPR
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
• Speak read and understand English fluently.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.

Pay rate $21.00 -23.50per hour
