Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Newnan, GA is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Aide/Caregiver to support seniors at home with daily living activities, companionship and essential care. The role offers competitive pay and a $200 sign-on bonus, with a focus on safe, client-centered home care.

You will work one-on-one with clients, follow care plans, document progress, and collaborate with a caregiving team to ensure high-quality, compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active PCA certificate in GA (Interim can assist with certification).
• One (1) year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification and TB screening.
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, good communicator, able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to help them live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation, companionship.
• Provide medication reminders, document conditions, and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Create a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities that bring joy (puzzles, games, reading, hobbies).

As a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercisesProvide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active PCA certificatein GA (Interim can assist with certification)
