Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. seeks a dedicated Personal Care Aide/Caregiver to support seniors at home in Peachtree City, GA.

You will provide essential personal care and companionship, helping with daily activities and mobility to keep clients safe and comfortable in familiar surroundings. The position offers $17.00 per hour, a $200-$500 sign-on bonus, 1:1 aide-to-client ratios, and the ability to set your own schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; PCA certificate GA (Interim can assist with certification).
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification and TB screening.
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and good communicator; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support for seniors to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and light housekeeping.
• Help with ambulation, transfers and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client status for supervisor.
• Maintain a safe home environment and engage clients in joyful activities.

As a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active PCA certificatein GA (Interim can assist with certification)
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Current hands‑on CPR/First Aid certification and current TB screening
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
