Job summary

Interim HealthCare – Knaus Organization in Griffin, GA is hiring Personal Care Aides (PCAs)/Caregivers to help seniors live safely at home. You will assist with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, and companionship, delivering compassionate, one-on-one support.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $16–$17, a $200 sign-on bonus, flexible scheduling, online training with CEUs, and a path to develop skills within a nationwide home care network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and active GA HCA registration.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB screening.
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature; good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, light housekeeping and companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Create a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways; engage clients in activities.

As a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in GA (Interim can assist with certification)
• One (1) year of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Current hands-on CPR/First Aid certification and current TB screening
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
