Interim HealthCare in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a part-time Home Health Aide/Caregiver to help seniors live safely at home. You will assist with personal care, daily activities, meals, and companionship, building a trusted presence in the client’s routine.

The role offers flexible scheduling, 1:1 client care, and opportunities for online training and CEUs. A CNA/HHA credential and CPR certification, along with a Florida driver’s license, are preferred to start.

Qualifications

• Must-have CNA or HHA certification.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and transportation.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care and support to seniors at home.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Give medication reminders and document client condition for supervisor review.
• Maintain a safe home environment and encourage client participation in activities.

As a Home Health Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• CNA License or HHA Certificate
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification
• Valid FL driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
