Job summary

Interim HealthCare Eastern Dakotas in Fargo, ND is seeking a Personal Care Aide to assist clients with daily activities and provide compassionate care in their homes. You will help with hygiene, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

The ideal candidate has a CNA certification or is in their first semester of nursing school, is at least 18 years old, and possesses a valid driver’s license. Shift options include days, evenings, and nights with a pay rate of $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience in a comparable job classification.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and current car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities in the client’s home.
• Support clients’ hygiene and grooming needs.
• Help with shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

Job Duties

• Assist with daily activities for clients of all ages in the client’s home
• Assist clients with hygiene, grooming, and comfort needs, i.e., toileting, bathing, companionship
• Assist with shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience in a comparable job classification, current CNA certification, or completed first semester of nursing school
• Must be 18 years of age
• CPR preferred, but not required
• Two professional references required
• Valid driver’s license and current car insurance
