Job summary

Park National Bank in Ohio is seeking a proactive Personal Banker to join our branch team. You will deliver exceptional service, build relationships, and promote banking products to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, cross-selling services, maintaining accuracy, and supporting branch operations while adhering to policy and compliance standards. This role involves 37.5–40 hours per week with some Saturday shifts, and local travel within our footprint as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years experience in banking, sales, relationship management, or a related field.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers, prospective customers, and bank associates by ensuring prompt, professional interactions that align with Park Promises and Serving More standards.
• Foster and strengthen retail banking customer relationships and resolve basic to moderately complex customer issues/concerns.
• Coordinate sales efforts and relationship management activities across lines of business.
• Act as the customer's personal banker, strengthening relationships and offering products that meet needs.
• Execute retail banking initiatives through consultative relationship management.
• Cross-sell products and services and perform related clerical functions, such as account maintenance.
• Originate, retain, and maintain customer accounts including Retail Deposit and Digital Products.
• Address inquiries and complete transactions promptly, accurately, and within designated authority.
• Advise on digital product adoption and support branch associates.
• Assist Branch Management with daily Branch Operations duties and data gathering.
• Complete ongoing product knowledge and training to sustain broad knowledge base.
• Maintain adherence to compliance requirements and risk management policies.
• Deliver high level of service within Serving More standards.
