UMB Bank is seeking a Personal Banker in the United States to build relationships, promote products, and grow the customer base. You will convert interactions into financial solutions, manage a loan pipeline, and provide exceptional service in a high-energy, sales-driven environment.

The role includes training on products and processes, involvement with leadership mentorship, and opportunities to expand your personal book of business across branches.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of retail banking sales experience or other relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain a NMLS registration within 90 days.
• Ability to learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately.
• Strong math, problem solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to engage customers, build trust and grow a personal book of business.

Responsibilities

• Ask personalized questions to understand financial goals and match solutions.
• Create and manage a loan pipeline with strong closing conversions.
• Source consumer lending opportunities through networking and cross-selling.
• Learn transactions, cash handling, and bank documentation per standards.
• Meet daily KPIs while delivering an unparalleled customer experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
