Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation is seeking a Personal Banker to build customer relationships, recommend and sell banking products, and help customers achieve financial well-being. You’ll receive extensive training on UMB’s products and sales processes, and collaborate with leaders for mentorship and growth.

You will spend time converting transactions into cross-sell opportunities, calling leads, visiting businesses for workplace banking, and developing referral networks.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a retail environment engaging with customers and making product recommendations that lead to sales.

Responsibilities

• Ask personalized questions to convert transactions and service requests into cross-sell conversations.
• Create sales opportunities by calling leads, visiting businesses, and developing referral networks.
• Achieve daily key performance metrics while balancing priorities.
• Learn processes like transactions, cash drawer management, and bank documentation.
• Other job duties as assigned.
