Job summary

Columbia Bank in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver an exceptional client experience, open consumer and business accounts, and originate loans. This full-time role requires 1 year of banking experience and a high school diploma.

You will build relationships, identify needs, and refer clients to business partners as needed. Work onsite at the Irvine location, handling cash and serving customers while upholding Breakthrough Client Experience Standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Teller or other banking experience required.
• In-depth knowledge of Consumer products and services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in consumer lending.
• Ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) within 60 days required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent client service by acknowledging and offering appropriate products and services.
• Engage clients in financial reviews to provide solutions and uncover needs.
• Open Consumer and Business accounts for new and existing clients.
• Originates Consumer loans independently and accurately.
• Originates business loans independently or with minimal assistance.
• Assist Teller and support branch functions as needed.
• Refer clients to internal business partners for additional solutions.
