Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver exceptional client experiences and expand relationships at our Irvine, CA location. You will open consumer and business accounts, originate consumer loans, and refer clients to internal partners while providing responsive service.

The role requires 1 year of banking or teller experience, knowledge of consumer products and lending, and cash-handling accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Teller or banking experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of consumer products and services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in consumer lending.
• Ability to handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, and perform accurate calculations.
• Must be able to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client experience per Breakthrough Client Experience Standards.
• Open consumer and business accounts for new or existing clients.
• Originate consumer loans independently; assist with small business lending as needed.
• Identify client needs and refer to appropriate bank partners.
• Engage clients in financial reviews and provide suitable solutions.
• Support teller team and perform teller tasks when required.
