Job summary

Columbia Bank is recruiting a Personal Banker to deliver exceptional client experiences at our Dallas, OR location. You will identify client needs, offer suitable banking products, and refer clients to partners while handling deposits and basic teller tasks.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, with teller experience preferred, a willingness to develop lending skills, and strong communication to build lasting relationships with clients and prospects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year teller or banking experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products/services.
• Ability to develop consumer lending skills.
• Ability to handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, perform accurate calculations.
• Ability to expand client relationships using a personal/seasoned banking approach.
• NMLS licensing knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open consumer and business accounts for new and existing clients.
• Refer clients to internal partners for banking needs.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely manner and provide proactive solutions.
• Engage clients in financial reviews to uncover needs and opportunities.
• Support teller functions when needed and contribute to team environment.
• Resolve client issues with strong follow-through.
