Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Personal Banker at our Independence, OR location to deliver exceptional client experience by following Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. You will acquire and expand client relationships by understanding needs and offering suitable products, including consumer lending opportunities.

You will open consumer and business accounts, support teller duties when needed, and collaborate with partners across the bank.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Teller or banking experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products offered.
• Ability and desire to develop consumer lending skills.
• Ability to handle cash, balance accounts and drawers accurately.
• NMLS license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client experience according to Breakthrough Client Experience Standards.
• Acquire new and expand existing client relationships by identifying needs and offering products and services.
• Open Consumer and Business accounts for clients.
• Assist with teller functions when needed.
• Refer clients to internal partners for additional solutions.
• Support consumer lending opportunities and respond to inquiries promptly.
