Job summary

Provident Bank is seeking a Personal Banker (Float) to build relationships with customers across the Metro/NY region, primarily in Hackensack and nearby branches. The role blends transactional banking with sales and service to meet customer needs.

The Float position requires travel among Hackensack, Oradell, Westwood, Park Ridge, and other branches, delivering outstanding customer experiences while supporting branch operations and referrals to appropriate partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of sales and service experience in a customer-facing retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel between branches as a Float.
• Willingness to obtain Life and Health Licenses.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales referrals and cross-sell bank products to satisfy customer needs.
• Assist customers with accounts, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Refer customers to appropriate departments for business needs.
• Support branch operations and meet end-of-day procedures.
