Ameris Bank is seeking a Floating Teller/Personal Banker to support customers across multiple branches in the retail area. You will conduct customer financial profiles, identify needs, and cross-sell products while opening accounts and delivering excellent service.

You will balance cash, perform transactions, and provide backup support as needed. The role emphasizes ethical sales and team collaboration across branches.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience required.
• Cash handling or sales experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Teller and Personal Banker that floats between banking centers to support customer and team needs across the retail area.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts.
• Accountable for achievement of defined sales and service goals.
• Make recommendations to supervisors concerning budgetary needs and the client’s experience.
