Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to build strong customer relationships, open new accounts, and guide clients through loan applications. You will promote digital banking services and handle teller transactions with accuracy.

During a 4–6 month training period, you will learn transaction processing, referrals, and relationship-building skills to contribute to the branch’s growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have at least one year of face‑to‑face customer service experience.
• Previous cash handling experience is required.
• Prior sales experience is required.
• Must have a proven ability to work with customers in an enthusiastic manner.
• Previous experience in a retail sales environment is strongly preferred.
• Must have a proven ability for attention to detail.
• Ability to use and learn multiple banking and software programs.
• Must have proven, excellent customer service skills.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess the ability to market Bank products and services.
• One year of previous banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide products and services to enhance customer relationships through in-person interactions and outbound calling.
• Open new accounts and assist with loan applications.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements; handle account maintenance requests.
• Promote and educate customers about digital banking services.
• Assist customers with teller transactions and process diverse banking transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Participate in 4–6 month training covering transaction processing, account opening, referrals, customer service, and relationship building.
