Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to build relationships, open accounts, and guide customers through banking products. The role emphasizes in-person service and outbound outreach to educate clients on financial solutions.

Expect a 4–6 month training period covering transactions, referrals, customer service, and relationship building. Schedule includes some Saturdays, with a base salary and incentive opportunities based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of face-to-face customer service experience.
• Previous cash handling experience is required.
• Prior sales experience is required.
• One year of previous banking experience preferred.
• Must have a proven ability to work with customers in an enthusiastic manner.
• Previous experience in a retail sales environment is strongly preferred.
• Must have a proven ability for attention to detail.
• Ability to use and learn multiple banking and software programs.
• Must have proven, excellent customer service skills.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess the ability to market Bank products and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide products and services to enhance customer relationships.
• Open new accounts and submit loan applications.
• Comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve customer service issues and perform account maintenance requests.
• Promote the bank’s digital banking services.
• Assist customers with teller transactions and process transactions timely and accurately.
