Job summary

First Community Bancshares, Inc. in Roanoke, TX is seeking a customer service oriented teller to join our team. Under direct supervision you will handle cash receipts and payments in a high-volume sales environment, delivering exceptional service.

You will evaluate customer relationships and promote bank products, cross-sell services, and support a diverse client base including Spanish speakers. A high school diploma and some retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Under direct supervision, provide exceptional customer service while handling cash in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate new and existing customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow established policies in accordance with bank and supervisor directions.
• Accountable for personal achievement of monthly new account production targets.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers.
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, involving receipt and payment of cash in a high-volume environment.
• Process deposits and issue cash receipts and payments according to bank procedures.
• Promote bank products and services to support customers’ financial success.
• Record transactions accurately and balance daily operations.
• Assist customers with money orders, wires, CDs, and other services.
• Maintain professional conduct and adherence to policies while working with team.
