Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma, high school equivalency or currently attending high school
• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, involving receipt and payment of cash, in a high volume sales environment
• Evaluate new and existing customer relationships and recommend bank products and services
• Follow established policies in accordance with bank and supervisor direction
• Achieve monthly new account production as assigned by upper management
• Participate in an active sales environment that may require in-store aisle prospecting
• Process deposits and pay out funds and balance each day
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements
• Cross-sell bank services and products
• Provide bank services to a diverse customer base, including a large Spanish speaking population
• Attend to tasks as requested by supervisors related to bank operations
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Approval limits based on established authority levels
