Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, high school equivalency or currently attending high school.
• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Background investigation as per company policy.
• Ability to get along with co-workers and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow bank and supervisor policies and directions.
• Aim for monthly new account production as assigned by upper management.
• Participate in an active sales environment, including in-store prospecting.
• Process deposits and pay outs per bank procedures and balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks for deposits, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Inspect cash to prevent counterfeit checks and improper identifications.
• Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish-speaking customers.
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
