Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent or currently attending high school.
• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in a high-volume sales environment, handling cash receipts and payments.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow bank policies under supervisor direction.
• Aim for monthly new account production as assigned by management.
• Participate in in-store prospecting within the sales environment.
• Process deposits and payments, balance daily transactions.
• Receive cash and checks for deposits, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Screen cash to guard against counterfeit items.
• Enter transactions into the computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, bank wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse client base, including Spanish speakers.
• Perform additional duties as related to bank operations.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
