Ameris Bank is seeking a versatile Banking Center teammate to serve as a Teller and Personal Banker. You will identify client needs, cross-sell products, and contribute to branch growth while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities include opening accounts, handling cash with accuracy, and mentoring colleagues as needed, across both consumer and business client relationships.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience required.
• Cash handling or sales experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish, expand, and retain high‑value consumer and business client relationships.
• Proactively communicate with clients to educate, resolve issues and solicit feedback.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts.
• Provide teller support including cash handling and complex transactions.
• Practice ethical sales behaviours in line with bank values.
