Job summary

Ameris Bank is seeking a team-oriented professional to serve customers as a Teller and Personal Banker. You will conduct customer financial profiles, identify needs, and cross-sell products to grow and retain relationships at the banking center.

You will also open new accounts, balance cash, and provide backup support to branches as needed, contributing to service excellence and sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the financial growth of the banking center through establishing, expanding, and retaining high-value consumer and business client relationships.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts.
• Provide backup support to other branches and employees as needed.
• Perform accurate transactions, balance each day, and verify cash totals.
• Work on the teller line and handle complex customer transactions when needed.
