Ameris Bank is seeking a customer-focused professional to serve as both Teller and Personal Banker, driving growth through need-based conversations and accurate banking transactions.

You will open and service accounts, educate clients on products, and assist teammates to ensure outstanding customer experiences. This role combines transactional duties with relationship-building across diverse client segments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience required.
• 1+ years of cash handling or retail banking experience required.
• Cross selling experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow banking center relationships by identifying customer needs and offering appropriate products and services.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts to achieve sales and service goals.
• Provide teller services and support as a Personal Banker as needed.
• Guide onboarding for new clients and educate customers on banking options.
