Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation is hiring Personal Bankers in Lenexa, KS. You will build client relationships, recommend banking products, and guide customers to financial solutions while meeting compliance standards.

You will convert service requests into cross-sell conversations, call leads, visit businesses, and develop referral networks, all while achieving daily KPIs and learning banking processes. Weekend/evening hours required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year in retail or customer-facing role with product recommendations leading to sales.
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work branch hours, including weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Convert transactions and service requests into cross-sell opportunities.
• Call leads, visit businesses, and develop workplace banking referrals.
• Meet daily performance metrics while balancing priorities.
• Learn bank processes and complete documentation per standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
