Job summary

OMB Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver friendly, attentive service at our Mt Vernon, MO location. You will open various deposit accounts, resolve customer issues, and cross-sell banking products. You may process routine transactions and join the teller line as needed to support daily operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and banking experience. We offer a supportive environment and opportunities to grow with a locally owned community bank.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years retail banking experience.
• Three to five years personal banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open all types of deposit accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs).
• Resolve customer service issues and cross-sell bank products and services.
• Process routine transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check issuance).
• Work on the teller line as needed.

Personal Banker

Job Summary:

A Personal Banker must be friendly, personable and committed to delivering excellent customer service. Duties will include opening all types of deposit accounts (checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and individual retirement accounts, etc.), resolving customer service issues and cross-selling bank products and services. Other duties include processing routine transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check issuance). This position also works on the teller line as needed.

Primary Location/Schedule:

510 W Mt Vernon Blvd, Mt Vernon, MO 65712

Monday - Friday; 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, and rotating Saturdays 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Fulltime; 40 hours per week, average

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of two years of retail banking (including new account and teller transactions) required
• Three to Five years personal banking experience preferred

• Willingness to proactively cross-sell bank products & services
